Thank you. My back still is bad today so I'm still down. Have to get better for work tomorrow. Will post as soon as I am able.
I have seen her on TV, but have never had the opportunity to see her work much. I bet you had a great time. I can not believe that you were there 12 hours. I would have been exhausted. Make sure that you do post the project.
Exhausted was the word for it! We had a continental breakfast and a lovely sit down lunch too. So much fun and learned a lot. She is an exceptional person. If you ever get the chance, DO go to her class. She wants everyone to understand her technique and complete the project. She also had the room decorated with fantastic projects. Have you ever used ribbon in your bobbin? Gorgeous! We all asked for a class and the owner said he would get one for us. hee hee
Glad to hear you had a great time. I've read about quilting-as-you-go in quilt magazines. Is this the same thing? I don't quite get it by reading the website, but it sounds very intriguing. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished project.
OH my - sounds like you had a great time and make good use of your time and the instructors. I can't wait to see your projects, but I will - *4U
Thank you. I did enjoy it. But glad I didn't sign us for Saturday and Sunday. I never would have made it. :)
Glad you had a great time. Wish i was there her style of quilting intreages me and would of loved to been there.guess i will have to wait to see what you made then drain your brain on how you did it.(ha ha)
Thank you. I hope I can explain it when i post it. I purchased her second book there. They are very detailed and have loads of pictures and I think you could do it from them.
I just have the buttons left to sew on mine and I will post it. Betty is so nice and Sue Wilson that assists her is great too. It is a great technique. I can't wait to start a new quilt. We had the newest Pfaff machine to work on. WOW! Only downer was I was told that the John Deere class had to be cancelled because he could not get enough people to attend. Bummer! I will try and post the bag we made this weekend but afraid that long at sewing got my back in a uproar and I'm not moving much. Just sitting here keeping up with all the goings on here. :) Have a great day!
