He is adorable as he is, but when I think of a rooster, I picture long curly tail feathers. ( I'm presently doing blocks; maybe that's why)....could you put a flip in his tail? Or split in 2 parts? Still--very cute!
Thank you, he is a red bird and cartoon of course was not meant to be a rooster. But could be as he does look like he has a comb with his cocky feather top. So there is room for another tail or two.
He is a cutie Mary but I agree with you about his tail feathers. Perhaps a different stitch would make it work instead of the satin stitch maybe a weave fill might work. ~hugs~
I think the little guy is adorable and thought so at the time I saw noah's usage of it. It's really cute for a T shirt, as others have said. :)
I think it is cute! Often we are our own worst critics. I see nothing wrong with it! Suzanne
I love the look of him as he is... you have done a wonderful job
I like your design and the lightness of the body and wings. A cute bird! Maybe you could lower the density of the tail to make it more suitable for knits / T-shirts.
Thank you, that is what I am trying to learn is the different sizes of stitches and what kinds get along with different fabrics. The density thing especially. I also battle size from paper scan or drawing in Embird the sizing. I know the 1 view is it, but as I work on screen it is like my husband saying go pick out window when we were building our first home and I come home with a picture window big enough to make a wall.
I like the design, but the tail does make a difference - pretty dense for a T-shirt. Otherwise, a cute design.
Loved him then and love him now. Can't wait to sew him out big hugs Mary:):)
He looks like the red cardinal that flew right into my window the other day. When I checked on him he was somewhat stunned and very upset. Within a few minutes he left. Cardinals sure are very territorial birds.
Your little guy is cute, cute, cute.
I love it and would sure use it on many things! Great T-shirt design! Great job!! ***Flowers for all***
