These are small hair barrettes for me who has very thin and not much straight hair. These are lace pieces from Urban threads, I made them small! Yes those are round toothpicks for used to connect, I may try changing to rubber band somehow. It is hard to photograph them due to their size. Thanks for looking!

I don't have thin hair, but the larger size cloth barrettes, that you make, still fell out of my hair. I hot glued a piece of the rough side of a piece of Velcro on, and they stay in my hair very well. Maybe this would work for these. Hope this was helpful. Pat

I also have thin, straight hair, and it's always hard to buy barrettes that don't slide off of your hair because they are too heavy or have too big a clip. It's like being always 6 years old. Thanks for a great idea with the lace. Could you hot glue the flat side of a bobby pin to the back?

I think it may still fall out unless I braid my hair and put it above the braid. Lol! I have another idea. A hair sock, so that I can manipulate this snake thing into something more. hehe. I think I am onto something.

Very nice, I have problems with rubber band as two turns not enough and 3 to tight this is a great idea. I would have to go for little more holder as I have long hair.
