A Problem Solved! The Automatic threader on my new Quattro 3 was not working on needles sized 11/75 and smaller. I figured out how to make it work! You thread it just like you would for any other needle all the way to the end, except you do not cut the thread on that last step. Leave the thread loose - then push the threading button. It threads the small needle just fine everytime! Yeah! I hope this helps other people! I'm so glad I hadn't broken my machine!

Ben's quilt question. the laying out phase is you are choosing what block goes where and then you will stitch them together. Right? Are you going to quilt as you go or better way to ask, what is your quilt plan. I have yet to complete one, as I get messed up in what direction the seam is supposed to go.

Hi Jan, there is a small cutter on the side and if you swing the thread up into it to cut it, it makes it the perfect length for cutting and for threading the needle. I guess i misunderstood your post or I would have told you this sooner:>)...:>)...and you can leave the tail up in the cutter and it will still pull it to the needle. It is a magical machine!

I am so glad you have solved your threader problem. If mine wasn't working I would be sitting there for hours trying to thread the needle. Eyes are just not what they used to be.

Mine either! I am having cataract surgery soon! One eye at a time.

Most needle threaders do not like those smaller needles, mainly depends on the size thread you are using. Hugs. Nan W

I am sorry -- that is the way I do it anytime my threader has issues. I must have missed your earlier post.
I have had to straighten my threader before.
In any case -- I am very happy it is working for you!
