Bella she is so beautiful lucky little girl who receives her...soozie
When you say wool, are you saying yarn wool or something else?
Your doll baby is just perfect, you have put a lot of work into her.
Gorgeous! And I read your comment about how you did the hair. What patience, but it was all worthwhile, she is beautiful.
Beautiful job...can you tell us how you did her hair?
Yes I can. It´s such a is a very lengthy process, because it takes a long time to do, but in the end it is worth. Please don´t laugh , here we go:
1. wool wrapped around sticks (25cm long) to make kebabs.
2. Placed in boiling water for 15 min.
3. Removed the excess water with a towel. (don´t take the wool from the sticks yet)
4. Rook all the sticks in a glass tray and in the oven for 15 mi. 180 °.
5. Remove the wool from the sticks only when cold.
* I tried again and again until something works, it took a whole day to get the the wool curled"
Fantastic! Thank you so much for the very clear and detailed instructions...I shall have to remember this!!!
When I did it I used knitting needles (metal) to wrap the wool around....then boiled and let dry and it held the curl. Maybe the metal needles got hotter and curled the wool better than using dowels.
Muffy :)
Perhaps you are right, but I was in hurry and had to dry it so fast than I can
Thanks for the tip Muffy
