what did you sew this onto? is this felt?

anssmile by anssmile 28 Apr 2014

Thank you.

No, I can't remember the name, it is a fairly stiff (and expensive) fabric used by the suppliers of embroidery machines to stitch their samples on to show to the customers.

I have now bought very cheap fabric to stitch every thing out on, and only stitch my samples on this fabric. This stuff costs 3x as much as normal cotton.

And felt is even more expensive here in South Africa. Example: Plain cotton: R13/m; this fabric: R36/m; Felt: R60/m

When I still had a car, I knew where to get felt at R25/m, but now I am dependent on someone else, and she gets it at R60/m.

When I remember the name of the fabric, I will PM you.
