Dianne, what a beautiful purse ... certainly a labor of love. I love the colors and flowers and butterflies ... **4u
You did a gorgeous job ! This must have taken a great deal of time, but now you have a purse which is unique. "A few" heads have certainly turned when you used this purse. *4U
beautiful, it so well to be able to make so difficult work!*4U
Woooow Dianne, this is a very nice Purse! They can be proud! Flowers for you
Well done Dianne, you sure are doing great things with you digitizing. It is truely beautifull.
Wow - this is stunning. You are a very clever lady and your work is beautiful. *4U
That is really nice purse. It looks like a lot of work. I make placemat purses.
No pattern - I designed and digitised the embroidery myself and made the bag up as I went along! I'll have a go at writing out instructions and drawing a pattern and put them and the embroidery files on my website - http://DiannesCraftBox.bravehost.... - when I get round to it (which won't be today!) Love

beautiful and all that work turned out great. Where did you get the pattern to do It?
Thank you all for your compliments. The back and front are the same and the flap which fastens it was stitched separately and has the two big flowers at the top plus leaves and a few small flowers, plus the circle with my initial on it; I lined it and edged it all with satin stitch in black before I cut it out. The heart borders to the main pieces I stitched with my machine's built-in patterns after drawing a guide line with tailor's chalk using the inside of my embroidery hoop as a template, then I stitched all the pieces together, added the strap (1 metre of black piping cord) and lined the whole bag in plain black before sewing on a press-stud. There are 41,662 stitches in the floral embroidery, not counting the borders and satin stitch edgings.
Beautiful purse. I love the strap. I am never quite sure how long a strap should be. Thanks for showing.
It looks so good, and pretty, it might encourage some of us, who have always wanted to make it, to give it a try. *4U
Great job Dianne, I am sure you got lots of compliments. *4U
It is simply beautiful Dianne. A lot of work went into this excellent job *4U
Love the shape & embroidery & a good idea to add the strap much less likely to leave behind.
