This is beautiful. She is a very Talented young lady. I have a GD Kayla also. Arlene
She is really, really talented. There is so much depth there. Don't give up on this and get all of the training you can because you are just filled with natural ability.
Thank you...Yes, she is talented, and hope she continues. Maybe one day she will want to take lessons, but she is doing so well on her own.,
wow how awesome were will you hang it???give her hugs from me ok
I forgot to say it is very very nice .You Jerri are blessed to have her :):)tell her to keep painting .maybe she could try on old saw ,or plant pots and sale them.If i was this good i sure would try ok
Thanks Carolyn: I have a spot in my living room for it, as I knew it was coming, just didn't know when. I want to get a nice frame for it first.
I do feel blessed. She has had a rough time until she moved in with my son and his new wife. Her Mom treated her as her personal slave and made her do everything for her (the Mom) and my grandson. The Mom spoils my GS as she thinks he is going to be a Pro-baseball player, so all the money goes on him and nothing for Kayla. She was also hitting her, so she finally moved in with my son. He now has full custody...Thank God..
Hugs
Oh how sad, but I am very glad things are looking up for her, and that her Dad now has full custody. Gob bless!
This is gorgeous Jerri, Kayla has really captured the koala perfectly. Methinks she is one very talented young lady.
Thank you Meganne: I am proud of what she has done with the picture. She is very talented and loves to paint. She has done some beautiful pictures, but this is my favourite.
She has done a beautiful job..you should be very proud indeed!
Thank you, I am very proud of her. She has had a lot to deal with personally, but is on the right path now.
Kayla this is great I am a self taught artist my self . I started with portraits and soon tired of it.. do not do like me I just could not stay with it. . I painted a painting of two deer's in the woods got it al done gave it to my Brother in law for his birthday and later on we were showing it to some one and discovered one had only 3 legs.
hugs Lena
Thank you, I am going to show her all the comments from all the Members here, to encourage her to continue and show her how others like her work.
He is realistic enough a body just wants to reach out, pick him and and hug the stuffing out of him! :) She is very talented.
Very nice. I am in envy of anyone who can be so artistic. I can't even draw a stick figure.

Hi Jerri, Kayla has captured the essence here of the Koala, love the shading too on the ears and under the chin etc. They are such lovable creatures and so much a part of our Australian bush. Well done to her, love Chris
Thank you Chris: I am very please with how it turned out. If I ever win a big lottery, I would be on a plane the next day, my dream is to see and hold one if I can. So adorable looking...cute and cuddly. Hugs Jerri
Wow! That's very good! Just think if she had lessons!
Thank you, she doesn't want lessons, just wants to learn on her own..maybe one day she will change her mind.
That's how my daughter learned the fiddle/violin,but she would like formal lessons, just doesn't have 'time' to take them.
She made him look quite lovable and cuddly, although I understand the claws are vicious! Encourage her; she has wonderful skills.
Thank you. I have heard the same thing, but still would like to be able to see and hold one myself.
I do encourage her, and at one point offered to pay for lessons, but no, she wants to learn on her own.
