Nice work Sue.
For those of you who would like to have a go at this art form, try useing artist brushes and painting on a design. That way you have more control over what happens. You can also color in the bleached areas with Sharpies or similar after the garment has been washed and dried. Place a sheet of card between the front and back of the garment before you do either the bleach art or the ink work so that neither goes through to the rear fabric..
Sue this is great. I am not entering the comp but saved the instructions for future reference ( when i'm game enough to wreck a shirt ) Love the idea . Thanks to you and Urban threads :)
Very good - to say we are sisters I am hopeless at design - not fair
Looks great Sue and what a super idea. My grandsons would love this.
I did this to a shirt without even trying...the bottle cap came off, needless to say mine was ruined and now they want you to try making a shirt with controlled use of bleach. Should have kept my original, all I'd have to do would be the emb. and I'd be ahead of the game. LOL You are very artistic.
Laughing isn't what I did at the time...but this is just too funny for words. :)))The shirt I had the accident with was one of my favs.
Very trendy. You should come and visit our laid-back town I think.
On the West Coast of South Australia, about 190km NW of Port Lincoln, where the waves are good for the surfers and the population grows in the summer time !
Oh, Sue, you truly do Rock!! What an awesome shirt, design and bleach treatment......so cool!!
I am smiling and shivering thinking of you in cool temperatures to model this is a terrific top. Great looking. Did you use reg bleach or like automatic dishwashing with bleach liquid? It is less harsh with automatic dishwashing liquid on fabric. Thank you for the inspiration.
looks very great
nice weather where you live

Brilliant work Sue and are you entering it for the competition?
If you are wearing a sleeveless top its warmer on your side of the UK
T-shirt was only worn for the picture - if you look carefully, you can see the goosebumps!
Nice one! I love your generous splashes and the colours are very pretty, well done!
I am always a bit fearful when using bleach. When I accidentally get drops on a shirt it burns a hole, when I apply it on purpose I seem to rinse it out to soon. How long did you leave it on?
