That's a lovely rug, it looks like a real Persian carpet, beautiful.
Very nice! That will make some dollhouse accessory, please share your photos when you are done so we can turn green with envy. lol!
Angelique, this is absolutely the most outstanding piece of embroidery I've ever seen. I cannot believe that it is so small and with all those stitches, it is a real credit to your digitising skills and patience. Can't think of any adjectives to describe this beautiful rug, just congratulations and well done. Love and blessings Chris
Thank you I hope my Victorian rose rug will work out as that is even more complicated!
Wow! It's gorgeous, how long did it take to stitch this out, with the color changes? All for a doll house...wow!
My goodness!! Beautiful!!! Such detail for such a small piece! Wow!
You'll give the Persians a run for the money! Looks lovely. My granddad made my mom a dollhouse about 80 years ago. He wired it with lighting from a short strip of Christmas light bulbs, one per room. You switched them on with w a regular light switch in the attic (roof opened on hinges). The doorknobs are all thumbtacks. The front of the house could be lifted off once you opened the roof. It set in a track I think. The whole neighborhood contributed to her dollhouse. it was a Christmas surprise. One lady tatted a coverlet, my grandmother made mattresses and pillow with real ticking, someone made a rug. One lady cut small pretty pictures and framed them for the walls. The walls had wallpapers and windows with blackout shades halfway down to block the "sunlight." My grandfather made all the furniture except the china pieces for the bathroom, which were purchased. A real labor of love.
It is a great credit to your ability and should I say, patience.
I love it. Can you make an 8'x10' ? :)
My Pfaff would take a 8"x10" but it does not like to do cross stitch. I have tried it several time but am definitely not happy with the result. I have not a clue why because it does anything else very well. I also can not share the design as I have digitised it from a book and can only use it for myself. Sorry.
Wow! That is ALL I can say! This is fab and I wish I had it for MY dollhouse :-). You did a wonderful job.
WOW this is amazing Angelique over 85000 stitches for something so small WOW! ~hugs~
That is very intricate work, you should be very, very satisfied.Looks like a real expensive rug.I stand amazed!
Oh my goodness. It looks as beautiful as the silk pieces I have seen. Lovely!
This is gorgeous - just what my doll's house needs! I made some rugs by hand (petit point) a few years ago which I was quite pleased with.
