This split tree has the words Merry Christmas in the stitching. I am going to make one for each family member and put it on my tree skirt.

Wow, read the part about this being all thread. It looks more lacy now that you explained that, very clever. :) I too thought it was a pretty fabric addition. :)

I really like this fresh idea. Looks like applique. Will you change up the fabrics or maybe alternate fabrics as you go around the circle?

Thank you! This is not a applique. It is all done in thread. You can personalize each tree with different names, colors or what ever you like. I am going to try and do each one a little different.
