I have a confession to make...this is ALL Mr Dennis' FAULT!!! I was strong as long as he was on site, but alas poor Yorrick... I have succumbed. I purchased not 1 but 2 little scissors know as Sidehoppers for cutting those pesky little jump stitches! They arrived today in the post and I am doing the HAPPY DANCE at my house. OH the JOY! The Uphoria!!!! LOL Oh and as an aside they work very well for me as I was never able to get close enough to suit me. :)))))

I tried to up load the picture of a Sidehopper Scissors, but my printer went down and I was unable to scan. Sorry for the delay, ladies.

Trust me, the only danger they pose is to jump stitches! :)

Yes, these are the ones. They were a little pricey but I'd been having so much trouble with cleaning up my embroidery I decided to try them. I'm glad I did. I'm thinking my other scissors need sharpening and unfortunately the last time I did this they came back to me ruined. :(

Yes, they were a little pricey, but I had some discounts to use. I'm dangerous with a scalpel or anything that is sharp...just ask my better half...he no longer trusts me with anything like that. :)

Wow they look dangerous, amazon uk have them for about £20.00. Not sure if you could get them anywhere else here but they would be very handy to have.

I don't know what the conversion to $ is, but wish I had invented these. You might try some of your sewing stores if they also have a notions department, maybe they might be cheaper locally. :)

They are a little pair of scissors, with very sharp edges and you use them at a 90 degree vertical to cut the tiniest stitches. sending you a PM

They are certainly different,I'll put them them on my "I want that" list

Leaha by Leaha 10 May 2014

The only danger they pose is to the jump stitches, I really like them once I figured out how to use them. :) I use on some of the really close letters I had done for practice and all the stitches basically disappeared, no little shreds.

These are wonderful! :)

I wasn't without scissors, it's just that I had none which were right for the needs I had. My hands are to big and clumsy or the scissors don't feel just right. I do know that when I'm using 'tools' I prefer little. Thanks for all you do. :)
