Wonderful pictures. I have 5 granddaughters and three grandsons and one unknown on the way. Love to sew for the girls. I try for the boys but quilts, t-shirts and towels are about it. Becky
Thank you, Becky. My little boys are easy and really love getting shirts, towels and their last names on backpacks. My last (I am told by both children) is due in June and he is a boy, so it will be 4 boys and 2 girls for me.
Adorable little girls and it is obvious you love them, your smile says it all!
What a lovely change in photo. Grandma looks more younger and the girls look more older....such a lovely photo...Jerrylyn isn't it better to leave your avatar as is because if you use the second pic, your arms will get even more tired now they are heavier..hehehe. love Kerry
I didn't think of that Kerry, you are right! Thank you for complement, you are so very kind. Love you!
39 years ago we had twin daughters ,born at 32weeks . They are not identical ,I had twin brothers older than me they say it misses a generation but not in my case . They were a joy as babies and as young women they still are . I can truly identify with the sore arms they were like rag dolls for a long time . went on to have a son so it couldn't have been to bad LOL .Don't know how to post pictures but maybe one of our daughters will be able to show me .
These girls belong to my son and his wife(on the left) and my daughter and her husband (on the right). They are 13 days apart. God knew I couldn't handle twins!
We'd love to see your pictures.
They are just adorable. We have six grandsons and one granddaughter. She is really spoiled by my husband because she is our daughter all over again. Really nice picture.of the three of you. The one on your left has your eyes. Both are so cute.
Thank you. I think she has my eyes, too. They both also have my hair pattern. It grows straight down from the crown toward the face. I always say it looks like Moe's on the Three Stooges.
I have 3 grandsons, then these 2 girls and I have a grandson on the way. He's due in June.
Your smile hasn't changed. Girls are so much fun to sew for. Boys have their charm, but t-shirts and pj's was it for me.
Yes, girls are fun to sew for. That's about all I get from my boys, too, but my 14 yr old grandson still likes the t-shirts as long as I keep them age appropriate.
Aren't they just too gorgeous and very lucky to have each other as "cousin/sisters". It's a special blessing for the extended families to be living so close to one another. What a great support system all round. You look terrific too, needless to say!
You look happy! You are blessed with beautiful grandbaby girls - not to say anything about the boys they are great also, but wow! 2 cutie girls - and an embroidery machine! Lucky you! You by the way look FAB!
I was blessed with little twin blond grandgirls that were two...hmmm I think just a few months ago...but now....they are graduating college this weekend! How does that happen?
Enjoy them with all your heart. Time flies!
What fun dressing up 2 little girls! what a great age they are at! Enjoy being a grandma and take lots and lots of pictures, plus get a few of those picture frames that record the person as they will love hearing how they use to sound whether singing you Happy Birthday or practicing saying Trick Or Treat, they will love seeing and hearing themselves and love even more pushing that button so set it so they can not record over it in the future or make a back up of that recording too! Thanks for posting the sweet girls.
Thank you,I love the idea of the frames....I'll have to go on an expedition to locate some.
yep, you got younger as these couple years went by. Cute kids!!! They are the apple of your eyes, I can tell! **FLOWERS**
OH, forgot to say how special this pic would be, if you did the same thing, same pose, every year!! then make a little photo album for each of the girls.
Another great idea! I'll have to remember to put them on the same side somehow. They are only 13 days apart.
Grandkids are the joy of our lives and these must bring you great joy.Their hair has lightened, considerably,as have mine, but mine lightened to white/silver-lol You look very pretty and your blue blouse is too.
Thank you so much Toogie. Yes, I'm going to have a really blonde after she starts getting out in the sun. (the one on the right)
Nora's hair lighten a lot, just being out all day saturday at the ball games.I could really see a difference.
Jrob beautiful little girls I know you enjoy them.
Lenamae
ohhh such a lovely new picture! the children did grow older and are so adorable. But you are still the same, pretty and not older, you are the same...or perhaps even looking younger; .great!!
Thank you so much. Well, I may very well have felt younger in the second one. The first one was the day we brought the baby home and my poor daughter labored 17 hours and I was there with her and felt like I had been run over by a mack truck!
Beautiful pictures! They are so sweet! I have 5 granddaughters and two grandsons, if you're not careful they will steal your heart. lol! Yes I know, they already have.
Jerrilyn - what a beautiful picture. I do so understand the 'girl thing' as I know how I feel about Georgie - my only grand daughter. Does not mean to say that I do not feel the same way about her twin brother and my other two grand sons.
I understand. The 3 boys are older and I was beginning to think we weren't going to have any girls.
What a lovely picture of you and your grandchildren. To have your grandchildren close to you is a blessing as so many have grandchildren all over the world. Lucky girls to be growing up near to each other
Thank you. Yes, we do know how lucky we are. They live about 5 minutes apart and I live about 20 minutes away. I am super blessed and highly favored! :)
Jerilyn, Your girls are adorable. I bet it is such fun to be able to sew and embroider for them. They actually look like sisters. I know they will grow up to be great friends. Now we need to see a photo of those grandsons!!
I love how happy you look when you are holding them. Enjoy them to the fullest as you will find out when you blink they will be all grown up!! Hugs, Mary
I know, Mary. They grow up entirely too fast. They are fun to sew and embroider for. I can't wait until I can have them for sleep overs and let them really get to know each other.
They are darling little girls. No wonder they are the joy of your life. More fun to embroider and sew for also. Looks as if you had a great day.
Thank you for sharing!!! One question: how is it they are getting older & you are getting younger? Share your secret!! Enjoy those girls, we all know how fast they grow up!!
I was just going to say the same thing. How does she get younger looking?
She used a different camera, it has a younger lens.....:PPPPP
OOPS sorry, I couldn't help myself....:PPPPPP
I was super tired in the first one and as you can see I haven't had time to get a hair cut in 2 years. LOL! Thank you for your sweet comments.
Oh, my! They are so precious, I don't know how you let them go home! It's like twins without the parents being tired. I hope they grow up to be great friends. Hugs and cuddles.
Thank you, I hope that they are friends, that would be the icing on the cake! Passing along the hugs and cuddles to them.
How sweet and yes, you are blessed!!! Give out lots of hugs!!! Laura*
Jerilyn, you look too young to have grandkids!! Terrific pic of all of you..did you get to see them today (Mothers day)? Don't you love all the changes they have gone through, how they started out with dark hair and are now so fair.....in fact sorta looks like a little strawberry blonde? So happy you have them and your Grandsons in your life!!
You are sweet Vicki. Yes, I got to see them all. It was a blessed day. Both of my children had dark hair at birth and then as toddlers were blonde. Mine started dark and stayed that way. (That's my story and I'm sticking to it.) LOL.
How adorable! Ya'll or y'all which ever is correct are cuties. Thanks for sharing this. I thought the top picture was of you and your children, not grands. Besides you just storied, you are still holding them....:P
Wonderful! You are a very lucky lady!!
Hugs, Nadyne
Dear Jerrilyn, they are so cute! Great picture of you too. Love and hugs, Yoriko
They are adorable! I can see a bit of you in each of them. How lucky for them that they have you!
Oh, that was just the perfect thing to say! I, however, am the lucky one. The one with the brown eyes is as tough as an anvil and I'm told by many that she acts like me and I'm make sure not to look puzzled or ask just what they mean by that. LOL
The one that has blue eyes calls me baby, to my delight!
