Ok this is the last test stitch out I think but I wanted to doublecheck that it is not too close to the edges? Do you think it is ok? Also I was thinking that maybe I should ask her to bring me all the hats just in case they are off a little bit. If I cut them all 12 inches & one is more or less it could mess the ribbons up...............yes?

Gosh, that is really a nice stitchout! I agree that you should start with a longer ribbon. You can always cut, but can't add to it.

I would cut the ribbon a little long, center the design and then it could be adjusted when they put the ribbon on the hat.

This turned out very nice. You did a great job. How are you going to attach it to the hat?

I will sew the ends together & iron it on low to warp it to make it round shape & then wrap it around the hat & a drop of glue & done. That's my thinking so I hope that it works this way too. Thank you, ~hugs~

Your ribbon looks lovely. I would want to measure all the hats before I cut the ribbon.

I agree, Loralye, I would want the hats for proper placement....ribbon looks fantastic!

I would think if the hat was larger than the one you tested, the ribbon wouldn't fit. Think it's a good idea to have all the hats there to be sure. And the ribbon looks great!
