If you searching for more pieces of the China you already own, try Replacements dot com. I found my mothers China from 1952 there.
As for names my favorite tea shop closed but it was called Chelsea's in the Village and was in Ashville, NC
wow this is all fantastic! They are quite beautiful pieces & I for one would love to visit your beautiful tea shoppe! I have #17 in canary yellow. I love all of them! What a wonderful dream come true for you! Heaven in a cup! ~hugs & all the very best~
How exciting! You have so many beautiful treasures. What about calling it "Alice's Pantry"?
I just love antique teapots (although I can't afford them and have nowhere to put them) so I had good quality photocopies made of dozens of pictures of teapots and sized them to about 7-8" tall, cut them out neatly and then glued them to that space over the top of my kitchen cabinets, much like a wall paper border. It's an easy way to add "antique" charm without actually having them...and NO dusting!!
My suggestion for a name... "Tea & Thee"
How lovely every thing looks. I am sure it will be a big hit. when you pick your name, choose some thing that conjures up, Pretty, quaint, tea and relaxing. at the same time.
Hugs Pam.
They all look very pretty. Enjoy your adventures. Picture 16, I have this design in a larger cup - could be called a mug. It was my late mother-in-laws.
I must share with you an idea as I looked at you wonderful collections. a friend of mine lives in a large 1890's Victorian home that was actually cut into and moved from the main street in Monroe, Ga. to a near by location with acreage and it has a grand entry hall with a gentlemen s parlor on one side and a ladies parlor on the other. I was invited for a Christmas party and stepped into the ladies parlor which contained a huge Christmas tree.. Upon looking closer as to how it was decorated, i could not believe my eyes. Each decoration was a teacup glued to a tea saucer with a pretty ribbon running through the cup handle. She told me she had inherited the collection of tea cups and saucers from a Great Aunt and never used them until she saw some similar in a high end antique shop. It was stunning!!!! Kay
In my town there is a little tea shop called "Tea & Treaasures" with all types of china like yours vintage type linen and also a section (if the space allows) for vintage type clothes and accessories old photographs etc hope this is of some help to you.....soozie
How very awesome. You will have to get the word out when you do open. I don't recall having seen a tea shop anywhere in the Pacific NW. I was just recently in Portland, and would come back to see you up and running. The nearest I've been to a tea shop of your magnitude is the mammogram center at a local hospital. They serve all of the ladies tea and cookies using fine china; mix and match of course. What fun!
Deanna
you need to visit me sometime beforehand...i am about 35 min out of portland..country area
There are a few scattered around...not like I am planning, but they are around the NW...the main one is done at the Kerr center for a fund raising....25.00 a person...ouch
very impressive and so beautiful!! Good luck and success.
About a name.... well I see a lot of roses on the china, so perhaps: "the Rose garden" or "China Rose" But that's just what popped up in my mind...Hugs, Gerry
Rose Garden is out because Portland has the Rose Garden and the Rose Garden for all of the events...Now China Rose would be near the top in the advertising listings
Love all everything, tremendous luck with the new endeavor. Where will this shoppe be? I'd come just to look and sample a cup. :)
Oregon...would love a visit...we have a town called Aurora..antiques gallore...thought this would be a perfect place for me...
Oregon, oh be still my heart, have been there and loved it! We stayed in a B&B out there and this wonderful lady and place, spoiled us for any other. I remember it was in the area of the Rogue River called Gold Beach. They have the most wonderful berries and jellies...fell in love with Marionberries. Name could be 'Camylow's Tea Party'
OHHH! how about Alice and the Mad Hatter's or Alice and the Tea Cup?
Such pretty tea cups. I always enjoy my daily cup.Good luck on your endevor! I can see linens, Tea sets, and fresh goodies!! I still have a porcelain tea set given to me when I was 4 years old.And of course you have to have a Brown Betty Tea pot. Stella
My Mother has made me so many pretty doilies over the years and she has promised me to make so many more of them for it...I think I will sell some she will make now as an income for her...My Aunt does beautiful toil work so I will have a little gift shoppe (room) inside the place just for them to be a part of it...
Congratulations on your new shop! If I were closer I would pop in too.. Everything looks so inviting.!! Suzanne
You have a lovely collection of china! Congratulations on your new adventure.

I love tea shops. And yours is going to be so beautiful with this lovely china. Best wishes for a very successful shop.
Deanna, I love all the pieces of china and the silverware you have chosen. It will not be long now before your tea shop will be a reality and your dream will come true. Wish I lived closer so I could visit your tea shop. What fun it would be! Hugs, Mary
You have confidence in me...That's Great...sometimes I falter in this idea...BUT I will be doing it....Have so much money wrapped in it already...
What a shame my daughter not long ago gave boxes of this type of china and glassware belonging to her late MIL to an op shop as nobody in the family wanted it, these would have been great for you to use..
Love your china, I thought of a name for your shopppe "Resting Thyme"
How I love china. Your little tea set for four #6 is just beautiful. I have a beautiful dinner service in Wedgwood which I have decided to give to my daughter hoping that she will get some use from it. I wish you much luck with your tea shop.
Beautiful!
I wish you every success in your venture!
I absolutely love everything, but especially number 6,8 and 14. I love Blue china and I bought a beautiful blue plate when I was in Turkey. Love your China cabinet too. Hope you do really well with your new venture. Love Chris
