This piece of hand worked cross stitch has been waiting for a circular frame for about 5 years. (If only I knew a wood turner ;) )

I appliqued with a rope edging it to this furnishing fabric and made a cushion cover. (It will look better when I find a fatter cushion pad.)

Looks great Sue. Was wondering if you have "men's sheds" in England. We have them here in Australia - basically retired men who meet up and do wood turning, etc. Maybe one of them could turn you a ring?? Lyn

Lovely lovely .. so inviting a scene.. Your rope edge really works well..
If you get tired of it on the cushion you could use an emb hoop for the frame.. Now tell everyone I said do not place their head on that lovely cushion. ;-)
