I bought some designs today. Promised myself that I will embroider at least one project a week now that winter is approaching.

Well, we have had spring here, but it is now cold and wet with summer just around the corner. Typical for UK! Good luck with your stitching - enjoy your winter!

i Heather, If winter is coming your way, summer is coming mine. I am a spring fall girl myself. I do not much like the heat or the cold, however, these days I prefer the cold. lol! As soon as I get the spring cleaning done and my sewing room straightened I hope to do one project a week and do it to completion. I have 3 that need to be done ASAP, at this point they are UFO's LOL! So good to see you, especially with great news! Best wishes on a stitching winter!

Thankyou, I like to keep a few emergency gifts, I hate been caught out. Today I spent the afternoon sewing the binding on a quilt. hugs Heather

Sorry for not replying sooner Heather. My laptop connector snapped when my laptop fell of my coffee table on Monday night! So I wasn't on here much last night and didn't see your post. I'm hoping your health has improved greatly and isn't it nicer that the weather is getting a little bit cooler so we feel like doing more sewing. It's going to be 24C today, where is winter? We desperately need rain and they keep promising it for tomorrow and for the next few days, I hope so, my garden needs it. Good luck with your sewing, I hope to see some things in PROJECTS, love Chris

Oh gosh, sorry to hear about your computer. I love the winter, the summers in Nt QLD are very hot. I hope the sink hole we saw on the news was not too close to you. We have had rain every night, it is keeping the grass emerald green. hugs and cuddles Heather

I admire you for making that promise to yourself. Winter is approaching fast here in SA - I must also get around to all the projects I have lined up. I hope your health continues to improve Heather. Hugs Sarah

And I hope that you are able to complete a project each and every week during your winter. It may be cold outside but it will be warm in your sewing room.

It sounds so weird to hear you say winter is approaching, Since summer is coming here. This is one of the things, I love about this site, The cuties from all over the world.
I would like to do the same, one project a week. There are so many things I'd like to do, but something always gets in the way. I guess I should just make the time like a scheduled appt.
Good luck I hope you get all you wanted done and more. and I hope your winter is not as long or as cold as ours was. Jen

It would be strange for you having your seasons in reverse. I will have to think of a way to reward myself every time I complete a project, cheers Heather

I will be looking forward to seeing them. Summer is heading in strong here and it's always surprising somehow to be reminded that some of us are on the other side of the seasons.

We have a mild short Winter, its a good time to complete Christmas gifts. This year has been a long summer, I am looking forward to the break from the heat.

Thankyou, It made me realize how much money that I have spent on all those bargains when I was filing the new designs.
