Just a question: Is this design destined to your quilt only or is it available to the public (for sale) as well?
Sorry, another question: What happened to the design with the vase? :)
Hugs, Lidia
The one with the vase has not been stitched yet. For the quilt I left out the vase.
I kept the design to myself so far, though Yoriko would like it for her site.
I can't wait to see it finished because we don't have it here and I don't really know what it will give the final. It's very successful.
I love seeing blueberries and poppies in the fields but with chemicals there are less and less.
Ziet er heel mooi uit,ben benieuwt naar het eindresultaat
Martine, this is gorgeous! You are so talented! Love and hugs, Yoriko
I am wondering if this will work with dutch designs in the same quilt?
Do you mean that the thread colors were off a bit, or the photo's colors were off? Either way, they don't look "off" to me. I especially like the shading on the leaves.
Its beautiful. Will you use any of your cornflower alpha, perhaps on the quilt label?
Thank you. Actually i made one block with my initials which would look good on the front as well as a label, so I'll wait and see when I arrange the blocks for the top.
It is really pretty, the poppies are an excellent choice to contrast with the cornflowers.
Lovely. I hope they will all be offered at My Garden.
Very pretty! They look so realistic that you want to pick them up and put them in a vase of water. Great job!
Your colors are gorgeous, Martine and your digitizing top notch as always!! How big is your wall hanging going to be?
Thank you. I've got 7 blocks so far and they aren't all the same size. I also have some as yet not stitched variations I might add as well. I'll have to lay them out and make a plan. It would be nice in my garden "shed" (a bit posher than this name suggests). I love the blue, red and yellow colours, those will give some warmth to the bare walls.
Very nice finish. Is this the one you were switching some parts out, taking wheat out or something? I like your colors and the shading.
Thank you. Yes, more or less, I played about some more and this one is different from the one I showed in that animated version.
Nicely done - can't wait to see the finished quilt!
