Chin up it will all over soon and you'll have a beautiful kitchen to work in..
Awwww, hopefully soon. I know I can truly sympathize with you. I think lots of us have horror stories about the building/construction trade.
I know it is stressful, but a new kitchen hwo exciting!
We're all coming to your house for a tea party in one month. hehehehehe
I hope that it will be all good in one month then I will say COME ON OVER! ICED TEA ALL AROUND! easy peasy then I will forget all about the journey to get there lol
well they called & are coming on Monday to install the doors & the drawers & hopefully fix it all the same day!
Stick to your guns and have them do it as you want. After all you are paying them. Look forward to seeing the finished job. Hugs Shirley
You are right to insist on them fixing all errors. One spends so much time in a kitchen, you must love the way your kitchen looks and not every time you get there see something that irritates you.
I feel when you go into your kitchen, you must think how nice it looks. Even years from now!
Best of luck with the patience part...
Can't wait to see the finished product. I'm glad you are happy with your appliances!
You have every right to complain Loralye. You are paying for workmanship and for a decent kitchen soyou stick to your guns. I wouldn't be happy with some of this work just from looking at the pictures. I do hope it will all get settled in the end. We had our kitchen renovated 4 years ago and never had one issue with our company, we were very pleased with them. We had walls knocked down and doorways widened etc. As it was from scratch I designed it how I wanted it and it's a galley style. Love Chris
I will try my very best! You have inspired me to get what I really want! I have just discovered that they created half of a drawer? Half of a drawer instead of a full on length drawer? I was not happy about this discovery @ all! They are going to find out how crabby I can try to be for sure!
Wishing you lots of luck in them getting it done the right way. I hope they stand for good workmanship so you all will be happy. Hugs for a great job Loralye, Sharon
The end of the project is near, Just think of how happy you'll be when it's done. They say patience is a virtue, But when your kitchen isn't working it's a miracle. Hang in there.
Stand your ground and get it done right. The day it is all finished will come and you will be so happy to have a kitchen again. And we will all be ohhhing and ahhhing with you.
Bet it will look good when you get it done.
Hugs Lena..
apparently it's the nature of the beast. Everyone I know who has done this has run into problems.
thanks Jerrilyn I know this may sound weird but I appreciate hearing that we are not the only one who has had issues & more issues with this sort of thing. I honestly thought if we left it to the professionals it would be so much easier & faster. Even with Hubby's busy schedule I think he could have done better himself. ~hugs~
I know, I had the same thoughts. One of my cabinet doors is still backward. The guy left to get it fixed and that was 3 years ago. We couldn't find him and I finally gave up.
It will all be worth the wait and frustration. I hope they don't make more mistakes. Can't wait to see the end results. Glad all the appliances arrived safely as well.
Hugs Jerri
I so feel your pain....just keep holding on to the fact that when it is finally done...it will be spectacular!
I am trying but it has been 2 months & I know others have had to wait even longer so I am trying to be patient. thanks Kim
