You can make a patchworkblanket with the bigger ones may be the way I have shown weeks ago.

Thanks, I am not sure, those pieces are really small. I probably will patchwork the bigger pieces.

Braid them all together to make a scatter rug. ~hugs~

If you know anyone that does needle felting, they would love to have these scraps. I've also heard of a lady that cards her own wool yarn and she adds thread and fabric scraps for color interest. Also heard of someone who put the tiny bits next to the bird feeder for the birds to use in nest building! Of course you must post what you do with them, I would love to see the results.

Small strips you can weave into pot holders.. Sew the bigger pieces together for patch work. Suzanne

Weave - have not done that in a while. Do you remember the potholder kits? I did a few of those a few years back.

Little teddy bears or stitch pieces together to make the toys.

You have received great suggestions already. I would use them for stuffing toys, pin cushions and similar items.

I have a feeling the smaller pieces may go into a stuffed toy.

How about stuffing dog beds for a local rescue group? A person in one of the sewing classes I attended collected any and all scraps ( fabric, stabilizer(except wash away), fleece... regardless of size.

I am planning on making some of the towel beds with bigger old towel pieces I have.

Wow, very colorful. Could the scraps be used in kids toys or books with peek through windows?

The blankets are beautiful. How big are the scraps? If little strips, do you have enough to sew together and make a little tag blanket, or could they be used in stuffing one of the ITH hoop animal?

Both are excellent ideas. I will look into it further. Thank you

A friend of mine would take thin strip scraps, like when cutting the selvedge edge of fabric, and tied them together into tassels.

cfidl by cfidl 31 May 2014

I can see using the selvage for tassels. Thanks for posting I had to go to you to give you a flower.

if you have some longer thin strips (1" or more) braid them together with a few knots and make tug of war toys for dogs. Sutffing do do blankets is done too.
