I need help from you ITH Zippered case experts. I recently made one and when you turn it inside out, there are raw edges showing inside where the lining is. I checked the design and it does say that there will be. I just thought that if something was lined, it would hide the raw edges, but guess I was wrong. My question is: If I place a piece of fabric on either the front part or the back part and sew all around the case, leaving a space for turning, will that hide the raw edges? If yes, then would I add the piece to the front or to the back? I just don't like the raw edges showing...too fussy I guess.

Thanks for any help or suggestions.

You will need to add it to the back (under the hoop) and leave a gap at the bottom. When you turn it through that gap , it will be inside out. Then you turn it through the zip opening. At leat - thats how I do my designs!

Thank you Sue, I was hoping you would see this and answer my question. Your the ITH Queen. I have already taken it out of the hoop, so will see if I can just sew around on my sewing machine. Your the best and again thank you for your help. Hugs
