Being a country gal from the Southern USA, I love your view from the kitchen. Thanks for sharing the pictures!
Hugs, Angel
that's ok. Sometimes it is nice to see where we live, as we go about our sewing etc.
It looks like you folks have a very busy time ahead of you with lambs and tails. thanks for sharing both the pictures and the info.
I do not do anything except lunch I'm afraid. Used to help earlier in my marriage but thankfully not needed now.
I didn't know they docked lamb's tails. Learn something every day!
Yes, they are cut with enough left to protect the 'private' bits from getting sunburn. These lambs are destined for the abattoir as they are produced for their meat. Known as 'crossies' as they have a Merino(bred for wool mostly) mother and a South African Dorper [bred only for meat] father. Yummy chops and roasts!!
Awesome pictures thank-you for showing us hugs
A bit different from your snowy pictures of earlier Carolyn! I have never seen snow, but we have very temperate climate here.
Hi Vicki, your camera date is around the wrong way for us Aussies! You've got a great view from the kitchen out to the paddocks - hope the mumma ewes aren't too stressed waiting for their babies!
Hope South Australia is getting some rain, I see the grass looks green! My sister lives in Tumby Bay and she said it had poured only recently. Love and blessings Chris
Hi Chris, yep I know the date is transposed, but can't seem to correct it. Yes we have had a nice wet May, the crops are all up and we hope that it continues well.
