I had just enough fabric left to make 3 chair pads I chose brown ties to match & because I have the most bias in brown & much easier then trying to match the colours exactly. Now I hope they still have this left when I get the chance to go there. I still need 3 more to make a complete set. The chair pads are foam & then have batting wrapped around each pad then covered in a muslin slip & then the outer fabric has velcro on the inside of each end so I can easily remove for washing. Labour intensive.

Beautiful job Loralye and because you have done all of the batting and wrapped each pad it will make it so much more comfortable for you. Easy to wash as well. They will fabulous in your new kitchen. Can't wait to see it all finished. Love Chris

These are very pretty; I think I've seen this fabric somewhere recently...hm. I know it was in your new almost complete kitchen and was hanging patiently at the windows, waiting for the rest of the items you were planning. Hope they have the fabric for you. :) hugs

I can commiserate with the having an incomplete kitchen but had thought your husband was doing the job. Everyone has likely heard the saying about the shoe maker's children needing shoes, well I am the cabinet maker's wife waiting for her cabinets. Hope you can get that company to get to finishing up the job. Hopefully they have not already been paid in full for the job or else they may not be motivated in finishing up the job correctly. Good Luck I hope you have your sink in prior to you finishing up the chair cushion set!

well if my husband were doing it I know it would have been all done. he is terrific @ all of this handyman stuff but he has a full time job so we thought the professionals would be done & on time but that is sadly not the case. I can guarantee that the sink will not be in by the time I am done my chair pads lol As you are the cabinet maker's wife you know that you are getting the best so that must be an advantage for you. Even if it takes a bit of time surely it isn't as long as mine has been? I hope not for your sake. Thanks & best of luck to us both lol

Isn't it amazing how much labor intensive items you can put out and have to wait for getting rest of your new kitchen done. I know if you had supplies at hand and the carpenter etc expertise you would have done blasted things done and looking good.
I made bet once with hubby I would do a quilt for king bed do hand stitching and still beat getting this one room done. He hates to spackle lol. I beat.

Mary you are so right I bet hubby could have done the whole thing faster & here we thought if we left it to the professionals it would be done right & on time! What do we know! Thanks so much my friend , ~hugs~
