These are adorable! Sewwww much work involved and a fantastic job! Hugs, Suzanna
I commend you!! Whew what a job and it was a magnificent one for you/Lillian
Oh boy, you are well endowred Kim, it looks like a production line of these beautiful dresses. Well done.
Kim I was just wondering how much fabric do you purchase at a time when you plan to do enough for all 7?
Ahhh, the big question...it depends upon what type of dress I am making...But, sometimes the fabric quantity dictates the style of dress, especially if I am short on quantity..For these, I had 5 yards of blue and 2.5 yards of print...Just a bit left over. If the skirts are full then 2 yards each for size 4-7 and 1.5 yards for 2-3 and about a yard for 6mos-1 give or take...
You certainly have been a busy lady! they look perfect for your holiday weekend, hope the weather is good...
Oh my, you're so good at getting all the grandies, I usually don't please them all at the same time. lol! Your outfits are so cute!
These are so cute. I can tell you that when the girls are old ladies they will be saying, "Remember when we all had dresses the same?"--my sisters and I do just that as our Grandma made us matching dresses every summer and we loved them.
You are the best. What a task and lots of love too. Fantastic job.
what a sweet Aunt you are. That's amazing! How cute these little dresses are!! I take it no boys in your brood?! Lotsa flowers!!
Thanks..yes, two boys...they usually get shorts and T-shirts...still working on those...
Cute dresses. But my first thought was, this woman is wonder woman. How does she find the time to sew, then I read some of the comments and saw that these are your grandkids. I am sure they will all look adorable on the 4th.
Thanks crosses...these are actually for my grand nieces...and they all live across the country from me...so I can only hope for pictures!
They are so lucky to have a handy grandmother, the dresses are a credit to the way you feel about them. Thanks for sharing.....perhaps a photo on the day????.............Ann
The girls will all look wonderful. Great job on the dresses. Love Chris
Thanks, Chris...had to pick a simple pattern to make sure I got them done in time to post them...
There is a lot of work there - absolutely gorgeous.
No spoiling done from your house! these are so cute and right with the theme; yeah for the red, white and blue. God Bless America.
Thanks Leaha...The last little one (for the baby girl 3 weeks old) I made on my new serger...the old one died after six were completed...
Aha... the old one died from lack of 'timing'...and the new one steps in and saves the 'timing'! Gottcha!!!!! :-O}
Oh, I just saw these - how cute!!!! A three week old? - another sweet little girl!!!! You are such a sweet Aunt!!!!!!!!! Hugs, Laura*
Thanks, Laura...yes, another sweet girl...they named her Penelope...I think they may call her Penny...time will tell..
These are so cute. Love the fabric.
Thanks "Mom"...I loved the fabric but could only get a couple of yards from the last bolt...so I had to stretch it to make them all...
These are so cute. Congratulations on finishing them so early.
Thanks...next to get them into the post so they arrive before the big celebration!
