Pauline I cannot begin to tell you how much I have enjoyed looking at your photos as well as reading all the comments from everyone. You are blessed you know.. I learned how special you were when you were beside Meg so much through her ordeal. A fantastic mom you are (can tell by your daughter's comments) and a wonderful friend to have. love you/Lillian
Lillian thank you so much for you lovely comment. Awww Meg would be beside me if the need arose. Lovely to see you back. Cyber hugs to you and hubby :)
Hello mother dearest, this is eldest daughter #1. Bet your shocked to see me on here! I just wanted to say how beautiful all these comments are for my darling mother. She is an inspiration to each of her daughters...sounds cliche but our mum really is. I never was interested in craft or sewing until mum went through a serious health scare. It all started when she was in hospital and we had to wait. Waiting is the worst. I went next door to Spotlight (how convenient!) and mum had given me a list of fabric and bits to buy. Well, to say the least, I got hooked from that moment and have not looked back! Thank goodness for technology because we could 'share' his day with mum even though she was so far away. We talked about her alot and yes we wished she was there....one day soon, we hope hey mumma? Love you more than you ever will know, thankyou for being a special person in our lives... nonna57sdaughter1 xxxx
Welcome to Cute! You have a lovely mother! We all like her and enjoy her posts. I just stopped long enough to give you your first flower.
Welcome and enjoy your new passion; what a lovely tribute to you mother and the grandmother. :) Have another flower and enjoy your garden growing.
To My daughter #1, Oh what a shock indeed. Julie you have brought tears to my eyes. Took me a couple of goes to read out to Dad. Love you and the girls and of course the Grands to the Moon and Back. x x
OH Well done Rose et al.
It must be wonderful having daughters to share such things with, even if only in spirit. You should feel very proud of setting them such a great example BBF. Rose has come a long way already, hasn't she. :-)
hugs n love,
This is such a fun picture of them, this is special to them as Mom was there in spirit and they listened to her voice teaching from their hearts. Sad you couldn't be there but loving you, for the example you set and the one they are passing on. Great job, Mom! ( hope this one shows up with flowers or you may get more...:P)
Leaha :-}
Greatest pictures seeing a younger generation enjoying crafts. You have every reason to be proud of them.
Looks as though they had a great day. Thanks for sharing your lovely pictures with us. Shirley
Lovely bag. Beautiful children. Thanks for sharing.
Lovely pictures Nonna, looks like they are enjoying themselves! We are over in the States at present enjoying our grand kids, we don't get to spend enough time with them as they live so far away and they grow so quick! Making the most of our time with them.
Karen wow you long way away.. Enjoy your time which i know you will, Bet you are missing your machines and the lovely Qld weather :))
Nah not missing the Qld weather as it's spring heading into summer! yep had to put the machines away feel a little lost without them but did do a lot of work for the kids before I came over, made some lovely table runners etc., lots of little things for the kids, I was as busy as a wee bee!
Lovely family you have got and they do have fun being creative! Hope next time you can join and perhaps show them some sewing and embroidering "secrets". But it must be a great feeling that your girls
follow your path...
Love Maria

What a wonderful tribute to their mother/Nonna! My daughter has never taken an interest in sewing. My daughter in law wanted a machine so we bought her one and once a year I go show her how to thread it again! LOL I do have 2 granddaughters, so there IS hope!
So nice to traditions carried on...I know what it is like to be far away from family...but I bet you were there in spirit!
