I never thought of using leather for coasters! These are really nice coasters. Did you use a leather needle? Did you put the felt on the back after you stitched it out.
I made them with Sue's CD coaster design for ITH coasters. The felt went on while it was ITH and stitched to the front on the last step. I did not use a leather needle.
I do LOVE them, can not remember seeing those designs. Love the bright colours!
They are VIP designs. When emblibrary has a happy hour for those who ordered the month before, sometimes they have VIP designs that you get if you order during happy hour. These were great.
You did wonderful!!! These are great and a terrific way to use up those old CD's!!! Hugs, Laura*
Thanks, I have tons of CD's to use, I was most happy to get Sue's design to use them.
they look great with the leather center you know it won't drip through onto your table.. was it easy to stitch..
Thanks, it does stitchout well. Just make sure you have a design that doesn't have a bunch of holes in places that aren't stitches as the holes will show some.
What a wonderful way to recycle an old leather coat! Love how colorful they are.
These are really lovely. Well done recycling the leather coat. Shirley
Well call them 'Loud and Splashy" if you want .. I think they are "wonderful and Inviting'.. You did a great job.. what is you base fabric, if you don't mind me asking?
Thanks. Sorry, I forgot to mention it is leather on top and felt on the bottom. I used "recycled" leather from a old coat!
Wel li don't like them:(:(I LOVE THEM:):)Sew very pretty to hugs
Thank you! I had to quit in between coasters to welcome that new grandson so it took me awhile to finish them. I am not nearly as prolific as you!!
Hopefully. I'm just always amazed at you and wonder how many hours are in your days anyway!
