Vintage planes mini quilt for husband.
His father was a gunner in Normandy in a plane similar to one of these. I opted for Army Green thread and I think it looks amazing.My husband was pleased with his Fathers Day Gift.
What a joy to make this for my "GI Joe".

Very nice, What a beautiful remembrance for him of his own father and what a way to honor the elder generation. Glad he was given something he can truly appreciate and enjoy. You did wonderful! :-}
