These patches are a wonderful reward for their hard work. And they make a great memento to relive these good times. Well done.
I remember when I was a GA and got to the rank of Queen. Had to memorize a lot of scripture. Loved going to summer camp in North Georgia. These patches are great. Things have really changed in the past 65 yrs since I was in GAs. Know they will love these/Lillian
Me too!! My oldest grand daughter just completed her next to final step. they have added some since we were in GAs. Used to stop with Queen Regent (cape) now it goes on to a few more with awards of a cross pin, a medillion & finally a Bible. Then if the girl at their church has been active all those years, the church pays for them to go on a mission trip. They go to a church in Huntsville...not tooo far from you.
they are terrific but whats a GA? ~hugs~
GAs are Girls Auxillary in the southern Bapt. Church. RAs is Royal Ambassadors the boys Auxillary
I was a GA W A Y back! Now they have changed the name to "Girls in Action" but still do the same thing...missions.
Great job! I still teach GAs! Very small group now, but a faithful bunch of little girls! Favorite thing? Seeing how much money they get for the alum. cans & then using it for mission projects! Love that you made the banners for them also!
