The rooster I wanted to test is mine. The border is on wrong side for the right side of mat. Once I get my answers on placement maybe will give these another try. Thanks in advance dear cuties.

299559I am left-handed but I would still put the design on the left. I would place the plate right of center and the majority of the silverware on the left of the plate, so that the design would show through the silverware. It's pretty much a matter of opinion, I guess.
