I use Wilcom Truesizer or Pulse Ambassador which each have a free d/l. They also have more to their programs but it is purchased.

If you only want to change file format there is a FREE program.

Go to

Free Download

WinRar and Winzip only unzip files, what you need to convert embroidery files is an embroidery program. As I have the VSM software 6D premium (for Husqvarna and Pfaff) and Embird as well, I never investigated free programs other than Wilcom Truesizer, which also has a Pro version that offers more than resizing and converting but is not free. There was an introductory offer for it, but I think that ended 1st of July.

Hi Marian, what format do you want to convert the Husqvarna VP3 to? I believe that Husqvarna, Pfaff and Brother are made by the same manufacturer, so I know they use PES. There are a couple of programmes I've put down here for you. Love Chris
P.S. I know there are others, but I'm sure someone else will come along with them.

Actually, Pfaff and HusqvarnaViking are owned by the same company. But depending on the machine model, PES can be used. Hugs. Nan W
