Could use some advice, please.
I am making a doily to go under a unity candle, the girl wants just their monograms on it. What kind of fabric should be used? The candles are going to be ivory or a cream color, so was thinking I need to match the fabric to them...

The piece you are describing would be perfect in Free Standing Lace. I am sure someone will do it!

I'm make the doily to match the candle and the monograms in the colors that she has chosen for her bridesmaids dresses and her flowers. BUT, ask her.

I never thought about that. Thanks. My thoughts were to purchase some satin, put the initials on and trim it with the some of the ribbon that matched the bridesmaid dresses. It's a really deep, deep forest green kinda blue black in some lights. I've never seen anything like. :-}
