Hi gals, I haven't been idle! It's school holidays here in Australia and I've been minding children and cleaning, cooking, ironing etc. the boring things!
The past 2 days I've been helping Amy clean out her garage as Steve is a hoarder and Amy had had enough! So the ladies to the rescue and we got it into shipshape in a couple of hours. Steve can put all his tools and bits and pieces in some great shelving he's made.
Today I finished off the last of the Sonia Showalter Snowflake Angels that are for the ladies at my annual Christmas luncheon this year. I've told you before the theme is Snowflakes, and I've already done the 8 tea towels with great snowflake designs on them. On another note I've actually made casserole covers but they don't have snowflakes on them, but are navy blue and white. The colours this year are Navy blue, white and silver. Should look very fresh when I get it all together.
We're off to the Hunter for the weekend to visit our dear friends John and Deirdre Colvin. John was our groomsman at our wedding back in 1972! They have a wonderful vineyard and home. The name of their winery is called Montvalley. Have a look at their website and you'll see their home. It's HUGE!!!

Hi Sarah, I've been on here and posting answers to questions etc. I haven't been doing much sewing as we've been busy with the kids. I'll hopefully get some more done when it gets a bit warmer. Love Chris

Ha ha ha, I've finished the majority of the things I wanted to do and now have another baby quilt to do. I've also got some more mending from the family. Not so much sewing at the moment but more helping the family with other things. Love Chris

Thanks Sonja, they are beautiful and sew out so well. With FSL it makes such a difference to use the same thread in the bobbin. At least that way they look the same on both sides. I've made these for the ladies Christmas trees. Love Chris

Thanks Loralye, they usually give me Champagne, (they know I love it), Sue my oldest friend always buys me a very special Christmas icon in glass or metal to hang on my tree. Two of the other ladies give me little books with words of inspiration. One lady sometimes makes me an apron, just sewn. None of them are embroiderers! Love Chris

Hi Caroline, thankfully Ophelie wasn't here this week, 'cause I can't sew when she is here either. If I do get a chance of sewing I get her to make up some things in my sewing room and she calls it sewing. She isn't bad at it either, hope she will continue as she grows up. Love Chris
