Very cute. I put your pictures in 'Paint' and added borders. This is how I decide what colors to use. Hope it helps you.
If you sew them on just like you showed these be sure to turn under 1 inch all around then do one of your fancy sewing machine designs on the edge to seal it shut .
I also agree, a thin border around the blocks would be perfect! Love your Kokeshi dolls, great job! Post a pic when you are done, I am sure we would all love to see :) ***FLOWERS***
i agree wit the others on the framing the blocke this is a lovely quilt but would make it pop.

These are lovely, but I would frame the blocks with a color as others have stated to make them POP OUT AT YOU WHEN YOU LOOK AT THEM/<Lillian
What you can do easily, is lay a piece of red or black fabric that has been folded and lay the blocks down on it. Do the same with black. Then you will have an easy visual of what it will look like. I do this a lot and I call it fabric rehersal!
Just adorable!
I agree Love the dolls, would also put solid colour red or black first around all the blocks.
Love the designs.. like rescuer said the only thing is maybe a thin solid frame around blocks, this will be great when finished
It looks great as is -- very eye catching
If I were to add anything it might be to frame the dolls with a solid dark color. But it does not "need" anything. Well done!
