My elder son.Graham, has two snow white oriental cats to whom he is devoted. I found a photostitch embroidery design (unfortunately I do not remember the designer) of a very similar cat and I went to great pains to try and make the colour and shading to match the older of the two 'Elvis'. In a photostitch project it is quite difficult to change shading because one is never sure just where the needle will jump to next!

There is herewith: a photo of Elvis (the older of the two), a close-up of the design I stitched on the cushion; and two exhibits of the kitties with the cushion. I know that there are a good few cat lovers among the Cute community, and this post could appeal to you. Thanks for looking. Patricia

Oh no! I did not do the digitizing. I'm not in that league. It was a 'ready design' but I juggled the colours to try to obtain the correct shading. Thank you for the flowers! Patricia

Thanks Chris - note in the last photo, the Kitiy's tail sweeping upwards and crossing his lower eye to keep him warm. It's winter here now. xx

What a stunning picture of your work and the cats. Your picture shows that the cats approve and no doubt your son was delighted with his present. The cushion is wonderful. Bet you had fun stitching it out. I am enjoying seeing your work now you have sorted out posting

Thank you Sarah, the cushion was part of Graham's 2013 Christmas present but it seems he and the Kitties are sharing it. Have a lovely day - better weather than last week. Patricia
