Re Shilly's post. Where in Australia would I purchase "liquitex gel"? Does anyone know this product or a generic? Thank you, this does sound an easy method.

Here in the states the hobby/craft shops usually stock it in with the watercolor paints(the kind artists use). Maybe that will help you know where to look.

Yes, this is probably the obvious place to begin looking......Just need to find me a town big enough that has a craft shop!!!! Thanks anyway (PS I live in the rural areas of South Australia, where craft shops are few and far between)

Isn't this similar to Mod Podge? Can you buy that in Aus.?

Hi Vicki,

There is a store called Eckersley's - they are over Australia. There is one in Adelaide in Frome Street. Maybe they could send it to you online. Love Chris

P.S. I see Adelaide is getting a bit of rain today and quite cold! Hope you are keeping well.

(Just check with Google too and type in Liquitex Gel, maybe there is somewhere closer to you in South Australia that sells it. It looks like you might be able to get it from good Craft Stores)

thankyou Chris, I will try a bit harder to find it on the 'net'. We were driving to Port Lincoln yesterday [Thurs] and it was fairly rainy. Lots of puddles in the paddocks too. In fact around Cummins, the farmers have many waterlogged crops [We are a bit further North and West, so not quite so wet] If the winter doesn't shut off suddenly all will be well for us. Start shearing on Monday, so maybe a sunny week would be great though! Crops will enjoy some sun too. xx
