I like it. With the gals being one color, the print isn't too busy for it! Go for it!
Just perfect...nothing more to say! Hugs and blessings, Penny in TN.
It's a great "fit" for the wimsy of the designs. "Good eye", as they say in baseball.
What cute little designs, love it and the sashing is quite adorable.
great work...
Thanks everybody! I have my strips cut, half of them sewn on. I love it!!! I would have gone with something different, if everybody had not said this was a good one... the Cuties came thru with help again!! :)
Oh, definitely a good fit!!! They are the same style with the outlines and the birds bring a nice color into the blackwork.......this quilt should bring some good money in as it is going to be awesome!
Thank You Vicki! Couldn't have done itwithout you :) Your little melancholy girls are SO beautiful! The blackwork and full color girls can be found at www.basketkase.com for the girls that are new. Everybody is saying the birds aren't too wild, so the birds it is! Thanks for the input !! ***FLOWERS***
I have tried to correct the no spaces in my comment above several times, I give up LOL.
I think they look cute together too, lots of cuteness going on. Nice bright colors of the birds with the black and white on both patterns.
I kinda thought the same, about the colors. There is also a touch of red in some of the little girl squares, and the birds also have a touch of red.
I would absolutely use it. Just remember when you start cutting for top, bottom and sides that the design is all going in one direction.
Please don't ask me how I know. :)
LOL, no, don't tell me that has happened to you!!!?? :) I thought of that too, but one row of birds is one way, the next row is the other. I think (hope?) it will look ok.
Lol so glad to know that happens to others besides me, and what i MEAN more than once. You'd think I would have learned my lesson the 1st time./Lillian
I, too, think it is lovely, especially with the blackwork squares.
