For the Digitizers. I have just spent the last 2 hours clipping all the jump stitches on the label I did for my GD.

The label was done like you were tying. My question is:
If you are typing out the words, can the letters not stitch out in a running stitch just like you were writing, so there would be no jump stitches between each letter? Only jump stitches between words? I have small very pointed scissors, but some of the jumps are so hard to get at and it distorts some of the letters.

I don't digitize and also have trouble with the small jumps between letters in words. I thought about using a fine point paint pen to color those short jumps, but I'm not sure if it would work.
What is Buzzword? Is it a stand alone program or does it need another program to work with? Thanks and Hugs.

My label is white and the thread is black so colouring the jumps won't work in this case, but I do use them for other things.

Do you belong to the yahoo group for the SewWhat products? I'm sure Judy or Steve will have an answer. Might just be a button to push to merge the letters better. I use SewWhatPro to do names, but they are way larger, not script, and I expect them to be seperate. (I'm probably missing a step, too.LOL)

Yes, I am in touch with Judy, there are a few fonts in SewWrite, but I didn't know much about it at the time. Judy and I have been e -mailing. I used Comic Sans for the label, not one of the ones that do join. Now I know..
I just got SewWrite, and haven't done much in it.

Oh, yes, they are a pain! I don't think you can get around them completely, but the better digitized ones do seem to be easier to clean up the jumps on.

Good question Jerri - I just hate those tiny little jump stitches.

Jerri you need to use a "running writing" font to do this as most Script fonts will always have connecting stitches between the letters, they are unavoidable unless you place each of the letters really close together.
This is another reason why you have your own personal digitiser to ask for help instead of battling to try and do it on your own.
I think I had better start digitising that running writing font for you sooner rather than later. LOL!!! hugs n love, Meg

Thank you Meganne: I just don't like to always bother my own personal digitiser, cause I know how busy she is. My all time favourite go to font is a script, nothing fancy. I am sure others would like to have a nice running writing font.

I don't digitize, but my 3D does letters. If it's a script, they run along without jumps..but a block will have jumps. Hope that helps.
