She is just a perfect little angel and seems to be saying 'Thanks for not giving up on me...God isn't finished with me yet!' Prayers will continue.
This is wonderful news for your precious miracle. Continuing prayers for her to get strong enough to go home. She is so Beautiful.
She is so precious this little miracle of God. Our prayers are still holding her up
She is an adorable little angel, and perfect in every way! I can see determination in those bright little eyes to face any challenges! You will be amazed at how well she will deal with them, and do anything she sets her mind to accomplish. Congratulations to all of you!

Wow those eyes are piercing! So beautiful. Being able to now dress her will uplift her Mommy so much, just keep stitching up a storm grandma!
Just to answer one of the NICU questions- there generally is not a set weight they will release a baby from the hospital, it is once they meet certain goals like not having any loss of breathing episodes for a set length of time. Able to intake a set amount of fluids etc then here at our NICU they also require them to be in the car seat without being let out for however long the babies ride home will be, as many NICU babies come from surrounding areas and it may mean a 2-4+ hour car ride and they monitor to make sure it does not cause any stress or problems with their vitals- as well as a family finding a car seat small enough! Hopefully her family does not live too far away from the NICU. She looks like she is making really good progress. Continual prayers for her and the family!
The family all live 80 to 90 miles away so Mommy and Daddy stay at Ronald McDonald house...they have been there since Riley Rae has been born (2 months 3 days). They have not left her side. Daddy's mom got to see her as much as she can. She works and is on call...so after work she drives the 2 hours to spend a few minutes with Riley and then drive 2 hours back. Riley's Aunt is going to have a baby herself in November and is so sick with the baby she only goes a few times. (she works and is a single mom to a 4 year old)
Sounds like she is progressing very well! Hope that continues and she will get to go home.

She looks so alert! and beautiful ! If she isn't home yet, I'm sure it won't be long now, she seems to be growing so fast. It does seem so much better when you can dress them in some clothes.. and some pink! God bless her-Toogie
I am so glad she is doing well. Nothing will stop her! Some babies are just born to thrive.
What a sweetie! All the cuties are proud of her too! So good to see our prayers answered. Keep us up to date as she grows bigger & bigger! I have to tell you this. My oldest son was in college & came in from class one day all atwitter over the "most beautiful girl I've ever seen!" He went on & on about how pretty she was..as he walked out, he turned around & said, "Oh. By the way, she lost one of her arms." But when he found out she was HIS doctor's daughter, he never had the nerve to ask her out! So I know Riley will, too, be fall over beautiful too! And a missing arm...that's just a "oh, by the way" thing!
I agree with you...this has happen so early in her life that missing a arm with be something she just grew up with. And I think she is so beautiful it won't matter either. But that is great grandma talking.
