Beautiful. Love the colour combination and the sashing with the embroidery. FABULOUS!
superb, besides the grand look of the ME I love your layout and the weaved look of the sashing and color combo
What a beautiful quilt. I have never tried a scalloped border like that but someday I will be brave enough I hope. I sure hope you enter this in your local quilt show either at the fair or a guild.
Congratulation on a job well done, it is really stunning.
That was my intentions in the beginning, since I made a couple of obvious boo boos on it I don't think I will enter it at the fair. We'll see our county fairs are in March here. Thanks, Susan
C'est très beau. La bordure en écaille est très réussie aussi. Bravo.
Beautiful. "I Dream of Jeanie" is on the TV in the background. Are you sure she didn't help you finish this in only 2 months? Great job!
It really doesn't take that long to do a project like this. There are only 12 blocks, one or 2 a day. Piecing it together another 2 or 3 days. The flying geese border probably took the longest to do. The scalloped border another 3 days. The quilting went very quickly. The more you do the more you want to do. The progress is motivational. Go for it Cuties you'll be glad you did. Hugs, Susan
A beautiful project! and only 2mths.. love the colour scheme and fabrics used..
Truly beautiful. Great choice in piecing and color selections. I love the scalloped edge and the binding. With all the work you have in it, I'm surprised you accomplished it in two months. Truly, truly wonderful.
It looks beautiful, well done. The only thing I can say is wrong is that you said it doesn't have a label yet...lol But I know you are working on that part. I love the edge on this & they way the flowers curve with the edge too. It sure would have taken me longer than 2 months to complete it...
If you love this look, as I do, go check out the lady's quilts on John Deer's Adorable site - Janet Samson. All these little perfect flowers! Wowie.
Thank you Cuties for all your praise and a couple chuckles here and there. Hugs and flowers for all. Susan
Lovely work. You must be pleased to complete this so quickly. So what will be next ??? I wonder Lyn
What a great job you did. This is such a beautiful quilt. Love the border.
Beautiful. Love the border. You have done a great job with this quilt. Shirley
Susan this is just beautiful i think i woudl be more than pleased with myself competing this loveyquilt.....soozie
Gorgeous quilt! I love your scalloped border, the binding is not the easiest thing to get right and yours looks flawless.
Gorgeous!!! Don't you dare show boo boos! I think it's perfect.
Dear Susan, you have every right to be pleased with this stunning quilt. I love everything about it and if you don't tell anyone there are boo boos in there, they won't know. Well done on achieving a personal challenge. I'm doing a cot quilt at the moment which will have scalloped edging but Amy doesn't want any embroidery on it, she only wants fabrics. Love Chris
P.S. I love I dream of Jeannie too!
You did such a wonderful job on this quilt! You have every right to be pleased with it!*
I love it...so soft looking with the colors you chose and how you did this in such a short time is amazing. Hugs and blessings.
What a lovely quilt. Your work is great, especially the scalloped borders.
Well done Susan. I love it and all the colours. I can see why you are pleased with it.
Hugs
Jerri
It's beautiful. Love your border. Scallops are not easy to bind! Great work.
Beautiful . love the color choice for the border around each block also
Susan, this is so nice, just beautiful. I love the colors of the fabrics, the flower borders and esp. the little blue bird and nest. What size hoop field do you use for this? Also, is this crib size/wall hanging? You have done an excellent job.-Toogie
Yes, it is crib size. The scalloped flowers and some of the quilting required a 5 x 7 hoop. I think the blocks were all 4 x 4 hoopings. Thank you my favorite block is the basket of tulips. hugs, Susan
What a Awesome Quilt...Love it...Great work well done!!!!
Beauiful quilt, all things looks perfect to me, if there any mistakes I think only you can find they. All matches together, the colors, the quilting, fabolous.
What a great way to use ME on a quilt! This is the best quilt I've seen combining both. It would have taken me 2 years! So, I am very impressed with how quickly you finished it. Can you share what kind of fabric/stabilizers you used to achieve such great results?
I used one layer of tearaway stabilizer for the blocks. For the quilting I just hooped the 3 quilt layers. I thought the quilting would take a lot longer than it did. I did all the quilting in 3 days. hugs, Susan
One of the PRETTIEST quilts I have ever seen... Beautiful Job! I sure wish I had half the talent you Cuties on here have... ***FLOWERS***
Fabulous job! I like everything about it. Thanks for sharing.
