I agree with you Pauline, but why should she buy one when Mum can do all the embroidery she wants.....................Giggle giggle!
Second thoughts if she buys one, from memory she lives up here on the Sunshine Coast we would get to see you more often.
Karen encourage her not deter heheheheeee you are right thouhg , if she did get one yes you might see more of me, Julie now lives at Malaney :)
I don't think you spell Maleny like that, ohhhh well you Southerners have a language of your own! Yes we need more inspiration up this way.
I left my iPad open on cute and look who highjacked it down the bottom!!??! π
this shows that there are some great bargains from dealers
I agree she should purchase one. I also like the idea of Santa helping a bit with a gift certificate maybe... :-)
You really know how to apply the pressure! When you brought in the big guns at this site she was out numbered before she started and without a chance. Ms Jules hope you are able to swing it, some time in the not to distant future. ;-}
Yes mumma knows how to bring in the big guns! Never mind, i love the bantering!!
So do I and y'all seem to have such a marvelous time! Thanks for letting me interject. :-)
Oh yes!!!...and then we will all watch her Happy Dance!
You will never look back. The best thing I ever did was to buy my first second hand machine to get me started.
Jules you will never regret. it and your mom will be right there on phone or cp to help you should you run into any problems. Better yet why not just put it on your Christmas List and maybe Santa would bring you one.
I know thats why im thinking the same model as hers, that way if something goes pear shaped she'll probably know exactly what is wrong!!
Do it Jules......you will never look back!
I know, and i know i will only get poorer!!! New things to buy! πΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΈπΈ
yes i do and your MOM can help you out with any problems you might have. You are so blessed to still have a MOM and to sew together would be heaven in my eyes.YES!!!!go for it :):)
Hi Jewls, if you want to get the one from Edgeworth - I live in Jewells and it's not that far from me. So let me know, love Chris
Thankyou Chris what a lovely offer. I shall let you know how I get on! X
Dear Mumma
Well, I have 2 I'm looking at, the 300E up here the lady isnt responding to my emails and the other is a 350e with Customiser is in Edgeworth near Wallsend.
I cant afford a new one, and there are not many for sale second hand on eBay or Gumtree, but I look almost everyday.
Trust me, 'it won't happen overnight, but it WILL happen'!!!!!
You will be the first to know. π
π ya xx
Both my machines were pre loved and bought from a dealer. I also know that my dealer sells machines interest free over a number of months. I am sure as a mum with young children that the cost of an embroidery machine is way down the list of needs. (But high on the wants list) In buying from a dealer there is usually a service history and if there are problems its easier. My dealer has some great horror stories of machines from the auction sites.
The 350E is well above the 300E for convenience of use with the USB way of getting designs from the machine. The display is also way better, so my recommendation out of those two is most definitely the 350E :) You would probably find both for sale at Janome shops etc where they've been traded in -or a machine technician may know someone who wants to sell theirs and could report on its condition.
I had thought of the horror stories, buying an unknown machine. I am keen on the 350 over the 300, and hadn't thought of approaching dealers for trade-ins! I will look into that for sure! Thanks for the heads up xx
Yay she answered... Thanks Caroline and Marrianne for advising Julie. sooo It will happen . I like that idea :)))
I'll second that!! also like asterixsew's idea a new one for mum...
Definitely. Why don't you buy a new one and give her the old one?
Of course she should!
Sure she can buy it my most favourite mother inlaw :) and its so nice of you to give her the money !! ( your bestest son in law)
