Oh My! I was invited to a demo in Calgary last weekend but we couldn't get there.... I was sort of thinking....I I REALLY DO LOVE my little PE770!!
Just had a email from a UK shop I sometimes buy bits from saying they are having a demo day with the new machine ssssooooooooooo will be interesting to see what the cost is in the UK BUT I LOVE MY MACHINES so don't need a new one. And as some one has said there will be some great offers on pre owned hardly used machines about soon
Please let us know $$$ and what you actually think of this newest jewel...I'm curious. Thanks for sharing. Wonder when the demo day for my dealer is?
It never hurts to look around, one never knows what they will find. I made an offer we went back and forth , and now sitting happily in my sewing room. It had 44 hours of time on it. This is the 3rd embroidery machine I have purchased used, and each time the deal has be outstanding, So it just never hurts to inquiry even when the asking price is over your budget, its for sale for a reason, and that usually is they don't want it anymore.
Have fun with this machine. I had a PR650 that was the shops demo machine for a good price and very low hours
and my DH thinks the VE2200 is expensive at $4,500AU. Hah!
Very expensive - but it is a fabulous machine!!
They sure know what they are talking about when they call it the 'Dream Machine'! I'm dreaming I love this machine...no, no, no that is all wrong...I love MY machine; I love MY machine; I love the dream machine...uh oh where did that come from? OOPS Sorry. :-P
My dealer was under the $10,000. Still buying lotto tickets.
Borrowing a computer too, I can't get past the sign in page on my 6 month old one.
Better days to come!!!
Under 10,000 grand???? I knew my dealer was high in his prices, but maybe yours sells more units and has a bigger inventory. Isn't the price range unbelievable! ;-)
Hope you win the lotto! Good Luck.
OMG, I saw the preview and I too fell in Love. I was hoping for the 9-10 thousand dollar range. Oh well guess that's why they call it "dream". I haven't spent that much on my automobile.
With a trade a trade in you might get closer to that range; I think my dealer runs a little high on his machine. I love my machine...keep in mind they may have good sales after they take in some trade ins, I know ladies here who are buying it just cause they have every other new machine and they don't keep their old ones. :-)
I was just talking to my dealer and they don't have the machine in the store yet (not until after the "Creative Stitches" show), but the price is $12,000, but there will probably be a special introductory price for the show.
I think different dealers and their volume sales as well as different parts of the country will dictate the price. I'm inclined to think my dealer is one of the pricier ones.
Most of the ones being mentioned here are probably in the US - mine is in Canada. Maked for a different comparrison.
I went to my Bro dealer yesterday and heard that they had sold 2 of them for around $15,000 each.
I think you will are correct! I have not seen them yet, are they as spectacular as the ads make them sound?
Yes I think they are fabulous! They have a laser guiding stitching ability, for people like me who can't sew in a straight line. I am truly amazed by what the machine is capable of. Everything the ads hint at are merely the tip of the iceberg... I love my machine...I love my machine...I love my machine...sigh. I still think there will be good sales...double sigh! :-P
And what is the price?
I was quoted a price over $12,000. Don't know if this if for everywhere or not, I'm in USA would be interesting to see what other prices at Brother dealers are. :-0
It will be at least 6 months before it is introduced here and all that time I'll be repeating daily, I love my machine, I don't want unother. That way I may believe it before I can actually see it. And for that money i could by a 10 needle brother or the 16 needle Bravo - and luckily I don't have the space to accomodate those :(
Believe me the price of the new machines squashes any desire to purchase a new one. Martine, they told me the prices of the 10 & 16 needles ones, but I wasn't able to absorb that information! I'm am sure you are correct in your assessment.
Hey, wait a minute, Leaha. NOBODY just "happens" to be at the Brother Dealers the first week after they all go to training and get their new machines! You almost fooled me! Hehehe.
Ah sucks...ya caught me!!!! Unfortunately husband is to blame for this trip...he's in need a new computer ;-(((( You know how they are 'Men and their toys...' You have to go by the sewing store to get to the computer store. I think he wanted me to have sticker shock, so I wouldn't hassle him about the new PC. LOL Oh BTW he was absolutely 200% Kerrect!!!!
Tell me ! Retired single women can no longer afford to buy the latest machine. I guess I will be using mine until it bites the dust and then shopping for used models. I know in my classes that many women buy every new model as it comes out. I think their husbands support their hobby to compensate for the husband's hobby. He He!!! Wish i had a wealthy hubby!!
Think we should all go and play the lottery...the chances of winning it are as astronomical! LOL
Is it around $6,000? or more. Tell me in a pm so I can be shocked too.
