Love all your canned goods! You've been working so hard!
I have never heard of this recipe before but sure sounds good. Love that not lots of sugar added.. Well done.. I will have to find the personals so I can get the recipe.. I haven't made jam in awhile as only the two of us. But the kids will be glad to receive most of it. ;-)
Aren't canned goods pretty.. Such a satisfying accomplishment.
I made this recipe up on my own that would explain why you have never heard of it. It is really good & there are just the two of us too. I am making these for Christmas baskets, some of them are so good hubby has asked me to make sure I save one of each for us too lol!~hugs~
hi , sure looks good. looking for the recipe. also i see that you too use the same kind of jars. have fun and enjoy.i made jelly out of mountain dew pop and jelly out of the ocean spray juices like cranberry, blueberry grape etc. love canning and enjoy trying out new things.
WOW THAT SOUNDS VERY GOOD! I never heard of it before. I will have to look that up too, thanks for sharing!~hugs~
Now that is really interesting.. I have purchased juices to make jelly at times but never heard of using mountain dew.. I will have to google that and see what comes up.. You hear something new every day..
Pineapple and peach sounds yummy! I only make jam from fruit from the garden, strawberries, gooseberries, red and black currents and now blackberries, and sometimes elderberries as well. But yourcombination sounds heavenly. They will make great gifts, well done!
Seems kinda unfair! Hope you enjoy your "bit" enough to make some more.
I am planning on making another batch as hubby has all but eaten the little bit for us lol ~hugs~
I should also mention that I have only used 3.5 cups of sugar in my batch. The pineapple is very sweet on it's own so an added benefit.
Wow - this sounds great too me! Still enough young folks in my house
to eat a lot of jam. And it's always interesting to try new combinations. Also we love to have extensive breakfasts and it's fun to put a new taste on the table. Therefore, thank you so much for sharing
Maria
Thank you Maria that is such a lovely compliment! I do hope that you will try it too. ~hugs~
