der Quilt sieht super aus, ein wundervolles Geschenk!
What a lovely keepsake. You have done a beautiful job on the quilt. Yep, I enlarged it too. Stunning!
My word, what a beautiful quilt you have made...I enlarged it to see up close and was stunned by the beauty....Everyone should look up close....You will make your niece very happy...Aren't quilts wonderful?
Gorgeous - this will be treasured for many years.
Totally stunning! I love the not so babyish design. Great job
Thank you...I really rethinking baby quilts...perhaps the not so babyish might be better....Hmmm...
I quilt and I love your choice of colors! You did a GREAT job and I love the angel label. Did you design the label yourself??
The angel was a freebie from Grand Slam...I added the wording in my software...so, Yes, I designed the label, but I used the free angel in it...
My goodness, Kim, what an undertaking with this ric rac design and you nailed it, knew without reading about it what it was! love your little angel design as well......great heirloom for sure!
So Beautiful! a lot of puzzle pieces too! The label is perfect!***FLOWERS***
Love the whole quilt and backing and label. May I ask if you made the label design yourself, or is it available to buy somewhere? Also wonder what kind of material you used for the label. I have to make one for my granddaughter and not sure how to do it.
Thank you for your kind words...the angel for the label was a freebie from Grand Slam...I deleted their wording and added back my own using one of my TT fonts in my software...the label fabric is the same white fabric that is in the quilt top...100% cotton, embroidered then appliqued on the back of the quilt.
Thank you for your heip; I just hope I get the right stabilizer so the wording isn't puckered looking..
This makes a very pretty baby quilt and stunning label too!
This is lovely, a quilt she will never outgrow.
Thank you...I may have to rethink my "baby" quilts...to be more versatile for growing up...hmmm...
Love the quilt! Good design and perfect execution. The quilt label is perfect. Thanks for sharing.
Congratulations on a prize winning quilt, Mum and baby will cherish it.. lovely and bright and perfect for a little or big girl.. Love the label adds the perfect finishing touch
Kim your quilt is gorgeous! The chevron pattern is so perfectly layed out that it appears folded. I'm envious.
Thank you, Jerrilyn...it was an interesting quilt to make...14 fabrics...kind of had my head spinning at times keeping them all straight...but I am very happy with the results...it kind of is a 3D looking pattern...
Beautiful done, like this kind of babyquilts, the young girl can use it too and has always a memory from her Aunt.
I love it! It is so bright and cheerful, and the label is adorable!
Well you have certainly managed the ric rack feel. The quilt is quite beautiful. A beautiful present from Aunt Kimmy.
Very nice, good colours. I will be suitable for ever, Thanks
Beautiful quilt Ms Dragaonflyer...it's a forever quilt! :-)
This is stunningly beautiful. When that baby is 25, she'll still love this quilt because it will grow up with her.
Thank you...and yes, it makes me kind of "rethink" making "baby" quilts that I have done in the past...perhaps making them not so "baby" is something I may need to reconsider in the future...still on the fence here!
Just lovely. Quilt, label and I love the backing fabric as well. Lyn
Oh, I love it! The colors are so bright and cheerful and you have put them altogether so well. Is this a half square like the pinwheel I did, just placed together differently? All you quilters sure inspire me, you all have such amazing ideas. Love your label too. Great job-Toogie
Thanks, Toogie...no this was not half squares...this was a bias rectangle using three fabrics...if you look closely, you will see the white bias rectangle with a triangle at each end...it uses 14 fabrics...pheeew...
This is awesome! What a great heirloom for Penelope. Well done. Hugs
You have taken a relatively simple quilt pattern and turned it in to a work of art! Your quilt is beautiful!!
Thanks so much...it was kind of a puzzle...there are 14 different fabrics....keeping them all straight was the challenge.
Lovely quilt .. The back fabric is equally attractive esp with the quilt label
Kim its beautiful ,your niece is sure lucky to have such a lovling and talented Aunty
Ooh! Kim, this is just gorgeous. I love the fabrics and also the use of the bright colours. I'm doing one the complete opposite at the moment in pale pastels colours for Delphi. Love the label too, truly a work of art and I know that it will be cherished by all who wrap themselves in it. Love Chris
Wow, this is a beautiful beautiful quilt, sure to be loved for a long long time, by both her mother and child. X
I love this saying...and it is sooo very true...Thank you for your kind words...
