I just did a rose from Buystittch #4 and it is really pretty! and not too many color changes.
Just thinking, stitching out a feathery open design on a towel, you will need lots of stabilizer and topping or the design will just sink into the towel. Maybe you should consider putting it on a banc and then add the band to the towel. Good luck.
Sorry Tiggy, I should have clarified, I didn't mean that the design should be open, but the rose should be open, as in, not a bud. Easily misunderstood. LOL!!! thanks n hugs, Meganne
Look at Audrey's Roses and Designer Roses sets by Anita Goodesign. Wow! He does good work! On a cheaper note, I have some free designs from a "Rose Set" by Buzz Tools that include three that would look phenomenal on a towel. Have fun stitching.
Thanks so much Grace I'll definitely investigate all those.
Why is it that with all the designs we collect and buy we can never find 'exactly' the right one when we want it. LOL!!!
hugs n roses, Meganne
My go to... amazingembroiderydesigns-996560-46032
Thanks so much Jerrilyn, I probably have that in my Amazing folder, I'll have to go search for it.
I've just spent a couple of hours cleaning out my (main) rose design folder and I still have all the sub folders to look through.
hugs n roses, Meganne
I found it! That whole set has some really nice ones in it and I had forgotten about the gorgeous yellow roses set from Amazing. Thanks so much. xox
