These are nice and it's so thoughtful of you to this for them. A little pat on the back can do wonders.
What lucky students. It is always wonderful to run across a teacher who really cares. I bet that these girls will always remember your kindness and caring concern for them. Isn't it nice to be able to share our hobby in such a rewarding way/
ps Do you let themuse your machines?
Thanks. I have about 20 sewing machines in my needlework room. They use those machines...it is the school's property.They have done patchwork projects in groups....I will put them up here soon. Some of them preferred to hand stitch them as I have plenty of scraps left.
I never had a teacher like you! Wow - really nice gift.
You may think you are rewarding them for getting good grades but I'm betting some might come away with the ideas of creativity on their own if they try sewing or embroidery...you may be creating a whole new interest for some. Great job. :-}
Thanks. When I see the joy in their faces when receiving the gifts I forget the time and work involved in making them. I also conduct an English Language conversation class for teachers in the school who cant speak the language, I have given them gifts too for their active participation and now they are requesting for a sewing class after school hours.
Fabulous gift for young teenage girls. It's so generous of you to give of your time and talent to show the girls what can be done on your sewing machine. Love Chris
