It all looks so delicious! I've probably put on a few kilos just looking!
oh they all look so yummy .Makes me hungry lol hugs and great jobJean
Everything looks so delish! I love apples anyway I can get them. How about some apple butter that's a fave of mine/Lillian
It's lovely instead of jelly on toast, or in a peanut butter sandwich. Only put a lot of spices if you love a lot of spices. (cinnamon, nutmeg).
The old fashioned way to make it was in the oven and it would splash and make a really bad mess, but well worth the effort. The finished result almost looked like a darker version of pear preserves. I recently saw a recipe to make it in the slow cooker and meant to give it a try but I never see Winesap apples in the grocery store. I guess, one would have to go to an orchard to buy them as they don't keep well. They do have a wonderful flavor. Maybe I could use Granny Smith apples with another variety that would cook up well. Wow!!! Nice! Are you doing applesauce and pie too? When can we come? lol! I'll bring some ice cream.
I think 'a few', is an understatement! WoW thats a lot of apples! All your baking looks so good, wish we had some!
Jean you look as if you are very busy. Two bags of apples and a box full, lucky you. It is a good year for fruit. I have two cordon apple trees and I am looking forwards to cooking with them but not on the scale you are involved with. Keep having fun cooking
