StitchedImpressions Peppers we have been collecting in Community/Freebies. Nora and I just made a pot handler, out of a potholder,2 for $1. at dollar tree. We made this for her mom. Nora had to go to the ER with a fever that would not break,104.5 Wednesday night. Was an ear infection. So with taking care of sick kids, this is about all the emb we can get done. With an earache, she has been crying like this pepper, so I thought it would be the right design.-Toogie

Lidia, Nora is probally my last chance to get a seamstress or embroirder in the family, so I hope she remains interested. Her great-grandmothers on both sides sewed and quilted, so maybe she will. I hope so-T

I almost didn't collect them, in sewmoms freebie posts. Now I am glad I did, as it turned out well. Thanks!

Wish I had collected them. Now I can't find designs of the right size to fit the pot holders. Any suggestions?

toogie by toogie 13 Sep 2014

Just keep watching and collecting. You'd be surprised how something you collected a long time ago, may work out fine. At the time, I didn't have a use, but thats why I collect freebies, you never know. Check your designs, you may have something useful.

Poor Nora, hope she's feeling much better. Ear pain is the worst and not much you do for it without seeing the dr. She is so cute and so is your panhandler.

Thank you for both. I always wanted to try these and it was easy to cheat with a cheap potholder.

She is curious .Not too painful today, but I didn't think the sitter could give her the attention she wanted/needed today.

She is fairly quiet, hasn't started talking much yet, but she absorbs everything. I had to show her how it slips on the handle.

Very good idea!!! I got the set of Panhandler Designs from Sick last year, but have not done any of them yet, so much to each one. This I can do in spades!!! I wanted to make them for family & friend Christmas gifts. One of my holdups, would they be big enough for their pan handles??? With this one I do not have tat concern!!! Thanx bunches! Hugs, Judy

This fits over my small or large iron skillets. I can't make them any cheaper, at fifty cents each. Just had to emb on one side, fold in half and sew one end and side.Finished!

bibee by bibee 12 Sep 2014

I must have missed it but how much do you sell one for.

toogie by toogie 12 Sep 2014

This is the first one I made. I haven't sold any. I bought the blank potholders, 2 in a pack, for $1.00, so that made them cost me fifty cents each. Is that what you misunderstood? I said or meant, it would probally cost more than fifty cents,to use my own fabric and buy the insulbrite or whatever, for them. I went the easy way out.

bibee by bibee 14 Sep 2014

If you sold it after you embroidery it how much would you ask for it.

Thanks Devon, see her bracelet and rings I drew for her. I wasn't here when mom picked her up, Papa was, so I didn't get scolded.-lol- The real bracelet she wears on her ankle, never fools with it, but wouldn't wear it on her arm.

Poor little mite, I used to suffer greatly from those as a child, I well remember the pain. Even now when I get them I lay that side on something that holds heat and try to just sleep. Grammie is doing all the right things. :-)

She wasn't too fussy today, but she stayed in my lap, mostly. She likes to watch the machine.

Leaha by Leaha 12 Sep 2014

As long as no little fingers get in the way, watching is fascinating! Glad she is doing better. Hugs to all. ;-)
