11 WEEKS TILL CHRISTMAS.

Just thought that i woud give a heads up on this special date.
I arrived home yesterday on my birthday after spending time to see friends around the country. I left home on the 4th of September in my tiny motor home and met up with a group of like minded friends till the 7th and then traveld on alone to have a girly time with Asterix Carolyn till the 11th and then back up country following the coast line to my favourite spot right on the beach untill yeasterday.
The weather in the UK has been amazing this year and i have so enjoyed the peace and the rest that i have managed to get.
My birthday gift to me is a days workshop learning to paint the Bob Ross way on Sunday. This means another full day out but another item ticked off the bucket list as I have allways wanted to learn how to paint with oils.
I have had little time this year to do embroidery or even much sewing but now i can start afresh and get those special Christmas gifts done in time.
My next trip out isn't till the middle of October just for three nights at Cheltnam for out little Bambi owners club Christmas dinner the my little van will be serviced and checked over to get it ready for next years fun. This time a group of us are planning to travel to the Isle of Sky and may even get to the Mull of Kintyre so we can sit around a camp fire and sing.
Now all i need is the name and addy for the Secret Santa.. nudge nudge wink wink

Sounds like wonderful adventures in your neck of the woods! How about we just enjoy the fall weather...one day at a time. :-P I am working on Christmas project. Have always wanted to capture paintings like this man does. Have a great Happy Birthday and fun day learning his technique. :-)

What fun you are having! I'm glad you had a great birthday and want to wish you many more! Wish my motor home would float, I'd start out tomorrow to see if I could cross the Atlantic to join you. ;)

It sounds like you had a lovely birthday. What a wonderful trip! And you are getting ready for next year. You are certainly filling your time with checking off the items on your bucket list. Now rest and enjoy stitching.
