Oh my! I have wanted those Chickadee designs since I first saw them and now I think I will just have to get them. Yours are just beautiful...I have never seen them sewn out on anything and it looks like they have that pretty, detailed feathered look about them. Her designs look so nice but I was afraid that the high stitch count would be hard to sew out on clothing, you know that bullet proof thing! What stabilizer do you use? Hugs and blessings, Penny in TN.
I used the iron on, no show mesh and they sewed beautifully! and they do have that feathery look.
Thank you so much for your reply...I will get them now and give it a try.
Great idea and a great job on both shirts. Have a happy and safe trip
What a trip! and the sweats look great. I like the birds best, but you did a great job on all.
Really cool shirts, enjoy both of them and have a great and safe trip! :-)
They are both lovely...I am sure our sister will get a lot of wear and compliment with hers, too!
Very nice! Love the sleeve designs too!
So, I'm guessing you opened the sleeve, sticky hooped it, stitched, and then closed seam on sewing machine?
well done they are both terrific! I have the chickadees too & also think they are great for so many things!~hugs & Have a wonderful vacation! Did you take it all apart to sew the designs on the sleeves or do you have a multi needle machine that has an arm thing built in? ~hugs~
I took the threads out of the sleeve to the cuff and almost to the arm hole, then sew the sleeve back together with a regular sewing machine. Mine has a stitch like a serger, so its the same as when I took it apart. Thanks for looking. I love chickadees.
