They look great - and I see you have inspired lots of people to copy your idea! Well done!
Love the leaves! I'm making some organza ones this week.
I'm going to start saving my thread scraps!
These leaves you've done look lovely& appreciate your sharing tips on use of clear stabilizer too. It's good to be challenged with a different use of supplies. :~D
Oh i love this idea maybe yoriko can add them i will ask her hugs
Yoriko has beat you to it. She had the veins added within in few hours of seeing mine. It will be quicker than the way I did mine. Glad you like them as well. Hugs Shirley
I like that you put veins in them. It really adds dimension. Well done!
Thanks. I felt they were not quite finished without the veins. Great that Yoriko has added the veins now.
Super! Thanks for all the information, too. Very fun!
Just beautiful. I just have to try one.
Thanks. Yes try one. They do not take long to sew out. Takes longer to trim after. Shirley
What type of plastic.. would a clear plastic table protector do.. love the way you enhanced the design..
Thanks. I just used a plastic bag as I had no idea as to what type of plastic Carolyn used.
Love these two leaves, especially the second one! Well done.
Hugs, Lidia
terrific job Shirley, ~hugs~
Thanks. I am pleased with the way they turned out. Have been looking for a green plastic bag. That would give another effect to the design. Never dreamt I would ever embroider on a plastic bag. lol
They look great and you were an inspiration to Yoriko, too.
Thanks. I am pleased she liked the idea and added the veins to the design. It took me a while to carefully stitch by machine.
I LOVE THESE. I like using WSS and snips to make coasters. Simply mount felt on back of them. These would look great as coasters also/Lillian
This leaves are very nice. I am sure, you can wash out the wss this will give the leave an other look.
Thanks. I have rinsed it out now. Just waiting for it to dry. It is holding together really well.
Really beautiful leaves! Look very realistic with the veining. Nicely done!
